A definite answer has been offered following questions over whether Tyler Robinson’s family will receive the massive bounty placed on the head of the person who killed Charlie Kirk.

The FBI announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to the perpetrator’s arrest before President Donald Trump’s advisor, Alex Bruesewitz, offered an additional $25,000.

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck pledged to match the sum, and then billionaire Bill Ackman put a whopping $1 million up, taking the total to $1,150,000.

Robinson has since been identified as the alleged killer, with his father said to have turned him in after a confession, although his grandmother doesn’t believe he is guilty.

Bill Ackman Will Pay Up If The Family Isn’t Complicit

Ackman has since taken to Twitter/X to disclose that the family is indeed eligible, as long as they are cleared of any wrongdoing.

“First, in order for rewards to be effective in finding criminals, the rewards need to be paid even if the recipient is a crook or worse,” he wrote. “That said, in this case, if Tyler’s father is found to have been involved or otherwise acted negligently in contributing to Charlie’s death, civil litigation or criminal prosecution will reverse any unjust compensation.”

“So yes, we will pay the reward if it is earned to whomever the FBI indicates provided the information that led to Tyler’s arrest,” he added.

“I always keep my word.”

Ackman also acknowledged having seen reports claiming that Tyler Robinson’s family intends to waive its rights to any reward.

Tyler’s father is said to have contacted a youth pastor with close ties to the family after hearing his son’s confession. The pastor then reached out to a U.S. Marshal, and Tyler eventually agreed to drive himself to a police station.
