Quinton “Rampage” Jackson addressed the shocking events that unfolded in Los Angeles on Saturday night, with his son Raja Jackson the main antagonist.
Videos of Raja attacking an indie wrestler named Stuart Smith, A.K.A. Syko Stu, during a match have been trending online, with the MMA fighter even being accused of attempted murder.
Jackson was shown picking Smith up and slamming him to the mat, knocking him unconscious and then raining down over 20 punches while he lay defenseless. The wrestler was taken to hospital amid fears that he could die, given the failed attempts to revive him at the scene.
Rampage Jackson Offers An Explanation

Rampage, a former UFC heavyweight champion, had a telling reaction to a video of his son assaulting Smith and has since taken to Twitter/X to offer an update, revealing the wrestler was awake and stable.
He then went on to explain what happened.
“Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in the ring,i thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong,” the older Jackson said.

Rampage added that his son had no business being involved in such an event, especially as he was dealing with a concussion. He also made it clear that he did not support what had happened.
“I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL!” he wrote.
According to reports, the LAPD is reviewing the incident and could potentially prefer charges.
